When does combat start?
Official text is school life. Recaps are a battleground in a school skin: knockouts, finishers, wallet-loot clips, Stand summons. If you want a peaceful first hour, hug the safe tile recaps mention and do codes / lockers first.

What did October recaps actually show on campus?
A how-to-play recap (October 12, 2026) spawned, called a courtyard a safe zone, then walked off it and immediately saw other players attacking. Skill slots appeared when they pressed T and Q. They found a character named on a locker (Desuke Sakamoto in that session — a player name, not an NPC roster). The locker opened; they got stuck in a prompt and closed it from chat UI. The menu had no quest list they could see. They then redeemed five strings and got success toasts on that account.
A longer campus clip shows packed classrooms, players skipping class to brawl, and later a Stand list scroll. That is the same Place energy: school verbs exist, PvP can eat the session. Your first hour should assume both.
What this does not prove
Safe-zone geometry can change. T/Q may be that player’s Stand binds, not the empty-slot defaults. Locker contents were not shown as a shop. Success toasts on recap codes are dated — see the codes table.
Use the recap as a camera tour, then verify on your HUD. The last section is the mistakes that skip that check.
The same recap also showed a wallet-loot beat after a knockout and a finisher that required Space to skip. That is PvP chrome, not a quest. Do not build a beginner route that starts with “kill someone for wallet loot.” If you get grabbed, wait the animation, skip with the prompt if it exists, then walk back to a safe tile and redeem if you have not.
Character create asked gender and first name in one recap. Your Roblox display name may still show to others. Do not put a password in the first-name field.
